<p>I am only curious, but has anyone received gesture from colleges to try to make you go there. Even as a transfer.My friend has been receiving small gestures (t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc) to try to persuade him to go to their schools.</p>
<p>The most prestigious school to ever send me anything was WashU. Other than that, I just got essentially junk mail from nearby schools when I was a junior and senior in high school.</p>
<p>Yep. I got t-shirts, notebooks, a mug, hats, and a bunch of other things, all as a transfer. I also got travel vouchers to visit the campuses for free, but I never used any of them because they weren’t schools in which I had interest and I knew a trip wouldn’t change that.</p>
<p>All I get is non-stop email from Roanoke and Hawaii Pacific. Still trying to figure out how they even got my damned email address. I would be more acceptive if they sent me some real world swag though. Preferably something of value so I could hock it to pay for my expensive ass tuition at a school I actually want to go to.</p>
