When getting a recommendation from a professor for transferring, is it necessary to have a strong connection with him/her? In high school, for instance, they teachers that I had write me recommendations were teachers who knew a lot about me, and had for for upwards of four years. However, in college, most professors have hundreds of students, and they only have them for a max of 15 weeks. With that in mind, I haven’t really made the same connections to my college professors as I have previously done with my high school teachers.
I’m a second semester freshman by the way, so I haven’t really had any professors for an extended time.
