Getting a student loan for a university in another country? Please help!!

So I was recently admitted to Seoul National University and would like to attend, however most banks in the U.S. won’'t give out student loans for Seoul National because it is not on the list of “approved” foreign universities that students can obtain loans for. At the moment I don’t have any way of paying for university if I can’t take out a loan, as I am still waiting for the scholarship application period and my family doesn’t have the money to pay for it directly.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do, or know any way around this obstacle to obtain a loan?

If the school isn’t on the approved list for student loans…there is no way around this obstacle if you want a college loan.

Your parents could take out a personal loan…but how much are we talking here?
