Getting around CT

I’m trying to find a way to get to Mashantucket, CT (near Norwich, about 1hr, 15 min away) for a concert I have tickets for in late Sept. CT Transit and Greyhound both seem to not serve this area. Are there any other options? Too bad 18 year olds can’t rent cars.

I presume you’re talking about Foxwoods. Amtrak runs from New Haven to a nearby town that I cannot think of right now. From there it is a short cab ride to Foxwoods, or there is probably a shuttle. I would call the hotel and they can tell you. Enjoy the show!

^New London, CT. Go to Amtrak.com and go to Routes, put in New Haven (departing) and Foxwoods - New London (arriving). They have trains and buses I believe.

depending where you are in CT, there may be tour busses that go to Foxwoods…they usually run from local stores or malls and may even include a meal… You could see if the times fit your needs… If you are in CT, it might be cheaper to use Shoreline East for part of the trip into old saybrook, then take amtrak…
