<p>We went to myUNC, checked/filled out the info for the midyear grade update, and then clicked the submit button. Then we clicked OK. And then we got this message:</p>
<p>**Get of midyear grades update component failed **-- followed by a bunch of codey gobbledygook.</p>
<p>We rechecked to make sure we had done everything correctly. We had.</p>
<p>The only problem I had was that I put too much information on the small textfield where it asked to provide any additional information, and I received a weird message. I think it only accepts a certain amount of characters. Try cutting down what you put, and maybe it might submit.</p>
<p>Thanks! I don’t think that’s the problem, though. We put hardly anything in the details fields. (We did have too much in one of the fields, but we got a different error message then–telling us it was editing the message for us!)</p>

<p>I’m getting it too! I’ve done exactly what they asked. I believe it’s just their system acting up, I plan to call Monday when I get home from school.</p>
<p>I had the same issue, but all of my grades saved. But it says I still have it to do. Twobittehz, if you get an answer, please let me know!</p>
<p>Also, I am on the block schedule, so might it not save because I haven’t filled out all the fields? It said that you should just fill in the classes you’ve taken if you’re on block scheduling, but that might also be an issue in why it’s not submitting?</p>
<p>Jess, we’re not on block schedule – in fact, I’m not even sure what that is – yet we keep getting the error message. So, I don’t think it’s related to that. We filled out all the fields, to no avail. But, as you say, it does save…so I guess that’s good news!</p>
<p>Yesterday I tried and received automated message that no one was available to help me. Today when I called they took name and number and said someone would get back to me to further assist me. I’ll let you know what happens.</p>
<p>IT sent my S an email that his issue has been resolved. When we went back in it allowed us to submit the scores. I don’t know if it is fixed for everyone or if they just fixed it so his grades could be entered. If it doesn’t work for you, I suggest calling them and leaving a message. It took about 5 hrs but the situation was resolved.</p>
