Getting in- Class of 2016

<p>Hello CC, I was wondering if any current students, prospective students, or even parents could offer any insight into my application for next year. Thank you all and your time is greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>-Hispanic (hook?)
-Male
-Out of state
-3.2 gpa with honors courses at a Blue Ribbon National school
-1790 SAT (will be retaking)
-4 years of high school football
-work part time job
-Latin and spanish speaker
-member of key club, student council, FBLA and finance and econ club
-blue ribbon recipient in regional latin competition
-Solid recs
-quality essay
-applying early action (this is my first choice)</p>

<p>You look like a good match, it may be helpful if you improve your GPA just a tad.</p>

<p>-Female
-Out of state (NJ)
-haven’t taken the SAT’s but have gotten 1880 last practice test (1170 reading and math)
-4.0 gpa, by next year will have taken 6 APs and 4 honors classes
-JV cheerleading two years (captain for one)
-Lots of volunteering (hospital, tutoring first graders, march of dimes)
-member of National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, and Science Honors Society
-Job during summer and school year
-Only a few school activities like Short Story Writing Club
-also planning to apply early action</p>

<p>are you referring to my comment? because ‘getting in- class of 2016’ implies that whoever wants to apply for 2016 can post. if you wanted solely you’re credentials looked at, next time put something like ‘chance me’ or ‘what are my chances’ instead of including the entire class of 2016</p>
