I recently read an article about how hard it is to get into the classes you need as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, and I was wondering if it’s the same at Davis? Is it hard to get into the classes at the times that you want? Is it generally difficult to graduate in four years?

Davis has a new 39 unit a year policy so graduating in 4 years is quite do-able. As for getting classes as a freshman, it is difficult at all the UC’s. Davis had a new program this year called CDG (career development group) that helped to guarantee freshman one class in an area of their interest each quarter. Take advantage of some of the programs offered (like CDG, freshman seminars or the honors program) to help.

It’s really easy to get the classes you want.
