Getting Into College Early

Hello All:
I was recently wondering what my chances of being admitted to a decent college are right now, based on my credentials:
-Tenth grade
-2100 SAT Composite (~97%)
-3.98 Unweighted GPA, 4.1 Weighted GPA
-All Honors/AP Courses (inc. AP Computer Science)
-Two years at Johns-Hopkins CTY
-One summer and 100 AP course hours at Junior State
-Lawyer on Mock Trial Team
-V.P. of History Club (and State finalist for NHD)
-Ping-pong club
-Skipped 8th Grade
-English Dept. Award (best HS English student)
-Dept. Awards for Math and German

Thank You.

you’re only a sophomore. give it another year and keep focusing on your schoolwork and stuff b/c ya never know, you could go downhill.

and i would retake that SAT. aim for a 2200 or above, with over 700 in every category.

You could also look at early college programs like Simons Rock and others. These are programs specifically for HS students who want to start college before graduating from HS.

I just looked into the Simons Rock program, and it seems very interesting. Thank you again for this pointer!

There are some other schools that offer early college as well, I just can’t remember off the top if my head. Maybe another poster may be able to make suggestions of schools to look at. I think there is a poster who posts on the Theatre forum who goes by earlycollege who may have info on other schools as well.
