Ok, I’m a white kid from ny and i go to a very good prep school in the city

Im only a freshman… but my gpa is a 3.69

i was on the baseball and football team

i was also in the irish club, buisness club and cooking club

If i keep this up, is there any were i couldnt get in to

and no comments, please, on it all depends on sat cause i know it does

There’s really no way of telling at this point, but yes, you seem to be on the right track to have a decent shot at college admissions. Make sure that you continue to pursue your passions and don’t feel pressure to keep up with something just to get in to college.

Your 3.69 is a perfectly fine GPA and puts you in a good position to demonstrate an upward academic trend.

It doesn’t all depend on SAT. And a 3.69 could certainly keep you out of some of the very “best” schools if that’s what you ended up with senior year.

Saying you were on those teams makes it sound like you aren’t anymore. Are you? Jumping from club to club isn’t a good thing if you’re just looking to add as much as possible to your application. You want to stick with some clubs long enough to show commitment.

It also depends on a kick-butt personal essay.

And excellent teacher recommendations.

Come back in 2 years and we’ll be able to offer some real feedback.

It is October of your first year of high school? You don’t have a HS GPA yet. It starts the end of the year.

sorry i should have been more clear

i am a sophmore and im still on the football team and i was on both last year
