Getting Into Eberly

I applied for the biology program but got into the DUS because I’m not taking pre-calculus or trigonometry my senior year, which is really my fault. I want to know how easy or hard it would be to go to PSU in the fall and then transfer into Eberly from the DUS. Would I be able to do that at the end of my freshman year? What kind of grades would I need to get in? If I do well, do they like have to let me in?

You need at least in several core classes, I think they are Calc 1, Gen Chem lectures, Intro Biol and then one of the bio core courses. YOu can enter eberly whenever, but you are not in the major until the end of your sophomore year after you have taken those classes.

So when would be the earliest you think I could enter? This wouldn’t effect how long it would take me to graduate or anything would it?

No it wouldn’t. I think you could just enter it when you go up for your FTCAP this summer. They have counseling for everyone their about their academics. YOu can just ask to be moved then.
