I am ranked 50th out of 942 kids at my school is that good enough for top ranked colleges?
Yes there are hundreds of top quality US colleges and universities. Top ranked is both subjective and relative.

How do you define “top colleges”?
What is your GPA unweighted/weighted?
What are your standardized test scores?
What are your ECs? Do you demonstrate leadership, initiative etc.?
Quality of LORs? Quality of essays?

Sorry top 20 colleges on the us news rankings because most of those colleges attract the big banks and I would like to do something in finance. Unweighted Gpa is 3.72 (can still be improved) Weighted Gpa is 4.7 (can also still be improved). My psat score was an 1190. My ec’s are travel soccer since 7th grade (Going to be team captain next year). High school soccer since 10th grade (Currently a sophomore). Created my own club that deals with investing in the stock market. Member of Mu Alpha Theta and member of Key club. I also am hispanic (idk if that helps or not).
Your PSAT is low, you’ll need to work hard on SAT or maybe look at ACT instead to be competitive for top 20.
“Good enough” to be 50/942? No, it takes a lot more than that to meet a top colleges wants.
And it matters what courses the lower than A grades are in.
Spend some time learning what the top 20 want in candidates. It’s more than stats alone.
