Getting into Pitt?

Unweighted GPA: 3.59
Weighted GPA: 3.95
Number of AP courses: 3
Number of honors courses: 8
Apush: 3
Ap euro: 4
Ap English and comp: 3
ACT: 20
(planning on taking the sat, aiming for a 1600 or higher.) I am bad at both act and sat.
Sat subject test: US history, 740.
Pretend to not consider EC’s because I think I fine in that category (internships, sports, clubs, and volunteer work).
Class rank: top
15%.

I think you’ll be fine as long as you get those test scores up by a severe amount

Would a 1600+ give me a decent shot if I apply undecided?

Bump

If you look at Pitt’s most recent common data set, the 25th percentile for enrolled students is 1750 (1180 M+CR) (and it also shows standardized test scores as “very important”).

1600 is well below the 25th percentile so that would appear to be a big disadvantage (unless you can explain why the scores are low). I wouldn’t be too encouraged but Pitt also professes to use holistic admissions so you never know.

AlsI, pitt only used the English and math sections of the ACT
