Getting Into Top Universities

Hello,

I am looking to apply to some of the top universities in my senior year of high school, and I have a few questions.

My current GPA (as of the end of sophomore year) is a 4.0 weighted out of 4.3-4.5 (not sure which).

I currently take 7 IB courses, and one regular course, 4 of which are HLs and 3 SL.

My grades have always been improving, and this quarter I got straight A’s. By the end of junior year, I expect to get one B at most. My ACT score is a 35.

I am looking to apply to all of the ivy leagues, as well as some other top universities. I will also be applying to a safety school. I hope to go to college for business, and I am currently in a leadership role in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America).

So, any opinion on where I stand would be greatly appreciated!

Ivies and equivalents are reaches for everyone. Select some match schools too.

Agree with above. Compile a list that includes reach (ex. Ivy and equivalent), match, and safety schools that appear affordable (run net price calculators) and that you would be happy to attend.
