<p>What are some tips that will secure me into getting into USC? What do they really look for in an applicant?</p>

<p>This year it was very high GPA plus 95th percentile SAT/ACT, at least that’s what the letter said.</p>

<p>What counts as a very high GPA? 3.90+?</p>

<p>Apparently if you had a 3.8 you stood a strong chance, but no guarantee. There are people in the past who have been rejected with 4.0s, so make sure your application is well rounded in addition to a high gpa.</p>

<p>Who cares? They freaking cut their German department. I wouldn’t apply there…</p>

<p>High SAT. Their average SAT scores for 2008 admitted students are 2108.</p>

<p>What if you took the ACT?</p>

<p>wassup spaz. ACT is also ok. I know somebody who sent in just ACT, got accepted. Send in whichever is higher if you took both.</p>
