I’m a rising senior and my current GPA is 3.46. I take the highest possible math and science courses available at my school (I intend to major in something math and science related). I also volunteer a lot and am involved in a lot of extracurricular activities and clubs that are related to my interests. My SAT score is 2010. Will these things help me get into UVA, even though my GPA is a 3.45? Also, my GPA has gone up every year (freshman year - 3.22, sophmore year - 3.41, junior year - 3.76), will this be taken into consideration?

If you’re OOS, you’ll have a pretty tough time with that GPA.

what is OOS ?

Out of state

OOS = Out of state

Your SATs are in the range. But your GPA is kinda low. According to the collegeboard website, 94%% of UVA students have a hs GPA of 3.5+.

Good luck.
