Just look up “what’s new with x phone” and there are tons of articles to explain how to use the features
Yep, already been doing it. I’m going to be a Samsung Note 9 genius in no time at all. If five years is no time…
Hmm…if only there was a manufacturer who made a more intuitive interface.
One of the advantages of Android is the ability to change that interface completely with something else. This is for those that like to “root” their phones and try out different interfaces. But… You can also simply download a different launcher to custom make something else like Nova launcher… Which enables a lot of customization. Nice things about launchers is, if you don’t like them just simply delete them. http://novalauncher.com/

Xiaomi are great phones directly from China. I had the One plus phone from China years before Tmobile started selling them. With Xiaomi there is no Google Store or apps and you have to add them as above. They are working with Microsoft closely since like 2016 on many items and technologies and might be the brand behind a new Microsoft phone and other items. This company makes tablets, computers, house hold items etc and has been a leader in China for years… FYI

@Sophia9848 are you suggesting that folks replace their cell phones every 108-10 months? Really?
@thumper1. I don’t know where this person is from but that is very common in China and India. Phones are status symbols and getting the latest /greatest is a big thing but I found that curious also. Since they suggested this phone I am just guessing.
H and I both have Moto G phones with 64g memory - bought from amazon. About $250. They are unlocked so can be used on different carriers (we switched from AT&T to Tmobile about a year ago because of their 55+ plus plan with no problem). I dont really know what a $1,000 phone would do for me that mine doesn’t.
How are you liking your new phone?
You are correct but for Android user or power users (lol), it’s about what you can do “with” your phone vs what the phone can do for you. Also lots of people do play intensive games and you need better processors for that. There are some cool features in the augmented reality world coming to phones etc wtd5. Non of this is important if you use your phone as a phone
. Hahaha…many will use their phone as a second computer
Better phones also mean better camera’s but Motorola camera are actually pretty good even on the low end phones
Guys, I got a new phone a while ago. Why did someone even comment on this again?
I think that a new poster bumped this up. (It looked to me like phishing or spam) People who weren’t familiar that you had purchased a phone didn’t know and commented. It happens
Hope you are enjoying your new phone
I am, thanks. I really don’t care about phones at all though, tbh.
