Getting oriented in school and in life

Kind of a random thing to post but I just read this and it was kind of an epiphany for me so maybe someone else will get something out of it. It’s about a fighter pilot from the Korean war and a decision process he invented, the OODA Loop, that enabled him to keep his actions in line with his objectives even in the middle of a crazy aerial dogfight.

Article does a pretty good job, I think, of explaining how something that came out of fighter jet land is relevant to college search, job search, etc.

[Get Oriented. Get OODA.](http://www.60secondrecap.com/get-oriented-get-ooda/)

It’s taught in most military schools as a way to make strategic and tactical decisions.

I had never heard of it before. It’s changing my life! And the website is cool. With a lot of weird, interesting stuff.

Thanks. Gave sent it to loved ones. :)
