<p>My son has been wait-listed at Yale and Amherst, accepted at Pomona. We both know he will be happy at Pomona, but he’d really love to go to Yale. He’d like somewhere where he can at least dabble in Architecture and I want somewhere that is not too much fun. (He’s worked so hard in high school that I don’t want him relax too much in laid-back California.)
Any suggestions for what kind of things would have an impact on the admissions staff to get him moved off the wait list and into Yale?</p>
