My understanding is that decisions come out tomorrow, 2/1/23. Please correct me if I am wrong.
hi! i applied EA and my counselor told me she got an email saying decision will be put feb 1st at 5 PM EST

Did anyone get the mailer for prospective families?
We haven’t received a new mailer from them in a while, just the email last week announcing decisions are coming 2/1 and asking if DD is still interested.
I think maybe its coming out tomorrow

I’m not sure who received though I would assume all EA applicants? DD received last Tuesday. It had a link to a form where the two options were either I’m excited to receive my decision, or I’ve decided to attend somewhere else. Here is the text:
On behalf of the Gettysburg College Admissions Office, I am pleased to announce that we will be releasing admission decisions for Early Action applicants on Thursday, February 1! We have received a record number of applications this year, and I wanted to let you know how glad I am that you applied!
In preparation for Early Action decision release, I wanted to extend the opportunity to complete this [brief interest form], letting us know how excited you are to receive your admission decision.
And while I hope that Gettysburg College is your first choice, in the event that you have already chosen to attend another institution, I would greatly appreciate you [letting us know via the form]. This will help us to provide space in the Class of 2028 for other interested students.

My DD got in with a Abraham Lincoln scholarship ($41,000), her biggest merit award so far.

We just checked! Didn’t realize they posted it. My daughter was accepted with the Abraham Lincoln scholarship.

Gettysburg was my son’s top choice. We spent most of yesterday on pins and needles awaiting the notice. Thankfully, he was accepted and he is over the moon!!
For those searching next year hoping to find information regarding what time of day the decisions were released… he received his decision via his portal at 4:45 on 2/1/24.
