<p>I live really close to the Monroe area where the outlet failed miserably. There are only about 3 stores still there. That outlet mall is truly an outlet ghost town. There is still a GAP outlet store there but that’s the only one worth going into at all. The Leggs/Hanes one just closed in the last few months and that was the main reason I’d ever go there. Downtown Monroe does have some cute stuff. You are staying much closer to the Birch Run Outlets which is a great outlet mall! You didn’t mention what you’ll be doing while in Flint, but Birch Run and Frankenmuth are both very cool! </p>
<p>If you want to do a quick drive by of the trendy area of Wyandotte on the drive home- You’ll want to take exit 37, Northline/Allen Rd and go east until it ends at Biddle. Turn right and after you pass the hospital, you’ll be entering the cute downtown area.</p>
<p>Re-read and see that you are flying home… oh well!</p>
