<p>Bought my child a laptop last Christmas, so trying to think what a good gift would be this Christmas or even thinking ahead to graduation.</p>

<p>I’ve found that people here in college use them quite a bit, and I’m honestly jealous. It’s nice to have something lightweight to carry around and take notes on, especially if you’re over taking notes on paper. Also, you can get books electronically with these devices, and if the class is easy/electronically-compatible enough, this could be very useful and a lot cheaper. </p>
<p>Also, something practical to have would be an external hard drive of some sort (if you don’t already have one). So far I’ve lost one of my flash drives and have experienced laptop problems at the worst of times, so having a solid backup of my files/papers would seriously have helped tremendously. (I might even ask Santa for one myself!)</p>
