$100,000 was donated to local Girl Scouts, with provision that it exclude transgender girls.
They said " no thank you".

I really can’t beat the top comment in Reddit.
It didn’t take them long to raise more than enough money to replace the lost donation – they were flooded with donations when the news came out. Good for them.
News spread like wildfire on facebook
There were many things I didn’t like about being a Girl Scout leader (thing #1 - MOUNTAINS of paperwork), but what I really loved about Girl Scouting was its inclusiveness. At least in my council, it didn’t matter what race, religion, or sexual orientation you were - there was definitely a place for you in a troop.
I hear there’s actually an “alternative” Girl Scout organization now - American Heritage Girls? - for those who find the Girl Scouts too liberal
^^ I’m guessing the American Heritage Girls don’t have Thin Mints, though. Or Samoas.
I loved being a Girl Scout leader. So proud of this organization.
Donations this morning were almost to $250,000.
Re: #4
You probably don’t want to eat any Girl Scout cookies, though. They still use partially hydrogenated oils.
