….Done. Thanks in advance for reading this probably unnecessarily long laundry list of what I’ve done. I just feel a bit more confident when I see it all in front of me, that’s all =)

I’m also applying to Harvard, Yale, U Chicago, Columbia, U of Minnesota. So… do I have a good chance?

I think you have a great chance. Nothing negative to say about your stats and accomplishments. For the icing on the cake, I would say try to do something unique. Stanford likes it when kids take their talents and run with it (no pun intended). Create your own fundraiser or community service program. Show them that you are passionate about something. You are certainly talented and well rounded. Put your accomplishments to work.

Remember this: A very good majority of kids that apply to the schools you are applying to are also equally talented, gifted and intelligent. Hence, when the admissions officers are reviewing all the applications how will yours stand out? What can you do that will set you apart from them? What truly unique character/talent do you have that you can capitalize on? For example my S loves to fish. So he started by giving free fishing lessons to kids. Then he started to give the lessons to adults, who wanted to take their kids camping/fishing, but were ill-prepared, then he expanded and taught scout troops and helped them earn some badges in the process, then he was asked if he would become part of the summer events program at the local park/fishing pond. So he was a fishing instructor for them. Lastly he created/founded a private fishing club for our town. He did fundraising to earn money to get it off the ground, then advertised for it. He created all the applications, licensing and badges for the members. It was a revenue generating program for the park, where all the proceeds went to the park. He even got a sponsor, who donated $300 of fishing equipment for the members and they had their first tournament two weeks ago.

I hope this helps. Good Luck. You are certainly destined to be a very successful. I’m sure regardless of where you land up, you will be very happy and they will be very fortunate.

If you have any questions feel free to pm me

Thanks alot! Any other opinions?

Don’t do EA. Not worth it.

You look amazing to me! I understand Stanford loves athletes and you are very accomplished in many athletic areas. Add to that all your other stuff and well, what can we say?! :-)

Very impressive
Not totally sure how relevant your Star Wars trading card game is though…(don’t get me wrong, I’m utterly jealous)

You’re as qualified as anybody else is, but don’t apply REA. You don’t get the benefits of applying to a school ED (too bad Stanford doesn’t do ED), and you cant’ apply to more than one school (regular EA). Apply RD unless you don’t have any serious plans to apply ED or regular EA to other schools (which I strongly suggest you consider, seeing as your application is very strong, and the ED bonus might push you over the fence into their school)
