Hi. I need a list of target and safety schools and probably some reach schools as well. so help me by giving me suggestions? If you think i need to retake my SATs again let me know too. Also let me know if i should apply through SEEK, EOP and or HEOP programs. I know i’m financially eligible.
My general stats:
SAT 1660(CR 430 + Math 670 + Writing 560)
GPA: 92 out of 95 which is roughly around 3.8?
i took AP courses in my junior year: AP calc BC and AP chemistry and i did good in it especially calculus… Senior year i will take more APs.
i got extracurricular activities done and volunteering hours etc.

Any other suggestions on what i can do between now until i apply for college?

apply to SUNY schools which include great schools like SUNY Binghamton. Improve tremendously on your SAT for more options such as NYU or Columbia and such

Well i’m most likely not going to retake the SATs again if i have other alternatives. I’m not really looking forward into Binghamton but i would consider applying for it through maybe EOP? I need more suggestions.

Taking SAT’s again will help a lot! I think some okay schools like Hunters will definitely take you. Stony Brook and Binghamton would be tough with those SAT scores but if you improve those I’m sure you’ll be fine

Well it certainly would help and you could get in but I’m sure there are many students that apply for the EOP with slightly better stats so it wouldn’t hurt your chances to try the SAT’s one more time. Your overall grades are fantastic so I can tell you are a bright student and if you put some effort into studying for the SAT’s it really would pay off! In fact, if you get around a 1900-2100 you could even get into the Macaulay’s Honors College. So in my opinion, retake the SAT’s and if you do better, it could make a huge difference in your college application! But if you really don’t want to, take a chance and apply for the EOP and hope for the best. Good luck!
