Given a scholarship at a college that....

ok, so I just was informed that I won a Leadership scholarship award at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI. It’s valued at $13,000 per year. (Their tuition is $24,106). This is not including financial aid which my family will probably qualify for. HOWEVER, Aquinas does not offer the program that I’m interested in, which is anthropology. However, they do have philosophy, and I’m also interested in that. I know I don’t have to make a decision yet, but should I eliminate Aquinas or keep it in the running? I’m also looking at Beloit, Denison, and Wooster.

If you get into a school that offers the anthropology and your family can afford it, then I’d recommend going to that school.

However, I wouldn’t eliminate a school that offers a program that you’re also interested in, until I got into that other school.
