So what do you guys think? Do I stand a shot for some of these prestigious schools?

Man, are you serious? You’re taking ALL those courses THIS year? wow!

Yes, your rockclimbing is a pretty unique EC and it’s pretty interesting, but do you not have some others like some clubs, organizations, etc? Your community service is pretty cool, but nothing really stellar.

Yeah, you stand a shot (everyone pretty much does, no one’s like “auto-reject” unless you’re like 3.5 gpa 1600 SAT bad EC’s), and good luck presenting yourself in the application (like essays).

no - those are the courses I’ll have on my transcripts when graduating. Sorry for the miscommunication.

I put most of my time into school, my climbing, and my community service project. I also live 30 minutes from my school and can’t afford driving back and forth for clubs. I was in NHS but decided to leave it because I couldn’t make any meetings, as explained previously.

Statistically you’re solid as hell and the rock climbing ec is pretty original and cool IMO. What state are you from?–since that would influence admissions at UF or UNC.

Edit: Ah and in response to your statement at the bottom of you post

Yeah you stand a great shot!

wrong forum my genius buddy…

^This was their first post, so assume that he isn’t familiar with the site

Eli, to answer your question I’m from florida, so that helps with uf, but not so much with unc.

az1698: sorry. I am not really familiar with the site yet. I’d move my post, but I actually have no clue how.
