I don’t think many guys would be willing to live in triples deliberately lol…I already told some of my friends and the usual response was “ewww” I figure I will only come to apartment to sleep and study in the library…I plan to the make the UCLA library my second home.

“Or living at the airport. … that would always work”

I suggested it as a joke, but I really did it for 38 days straight when I was between apartments and dead broke- even while working! (working in LA does not guarantee shelter, but that’s another story). I would catch the last bus to LAX and get a table to read over HW and maybe catch 2 hours of sleep if I was lucky enough not to be approached by some garrulous European tourist. I always patronized Tom Bradley terminal by purchasing the rancid curry Udon for $10 and the occasional spoonful of Haagen Dazs for $4.50. And by 5 am, I was out to catch the first bus to 24 hr fitness where I would shower and work out every morning, then off to school (Santa Monica College) by 7 am. I made a sh !tload of homeless friends on Lincoln Blvd. Also saw some unimaginable things in the street, but that’s also another story. :D

My friend used to live in ucla dormitary, and she took some photo in there.

ee_stu: I have no freaking idea…I have been trying to find some info about the University apartments too…but so far have been unsuccessful…I think Glenrock west has fitness. Westwood Chateau has rooftop pool and jacuzzi

here’s a picture of Westwood Chateau

and glenrock west

i guess worst case scenario i will put all my classes on two days and then drive home every week. but how many balls would that suck?

ee_stu you can se which ones have a fitness center on the housing website. click on each apartment name and it will say under amenaties fitness center or not.

I will link in a second when i find it

Well if you lived in SD, then you’d be guaranteed a parking permit and could sleep in the secure campus parking lot in your car. I’ve seen many people napping in between all night study sessions at Powell. But that would be the absolute last resort. The situation should never have to become that desperate.

nevermind ia m wrong, they dont list them by name, they list on campus housing by names. sorry

Aww. I see that they have 360 virtual images coming soon, I wish they’ll hurry up.

If I goto UCLA, I reallllly want a single. I wonder how difficult it is to get a single… or how difficult it is to get a studio within walking distance of campus… ugh.

“^ no, i dont care, i am not single and so i dont plan on doing the roomate… so him being there affects me 0%
I actually think that having a guy would be easier b/c then i can be like the chick of the house and decorate and stuff and the guy will not care. (unless he is gay, no offence to the gay guys but u ge the point)”

ahahahaha, that cracked me up.

I dunno, sometimes hormones can go a lil out of control… and next thing you know… natural inclinations of man will elicit a moment of “freakiness”.

You know what Malishka, I really wouldn’t worry about this if I were you. If you explain your situation to the housing people, they will definately give you what you want. Call them up and let them explicitly know your problem.

Something as serious as sexual abuse and its behavioral biproducts are compelling enough to give you special consideration. So relax. :)

where are the virtual images eestu?

does anyone know how good is UCLA housing in giving the student its first choice room type?

<a href=“Housing & Hospitality - University of California, Los Angeles”>http://www.housing.ucla.edu/housing_site/oncampus/tour/

virtual tour of transfer housing is not available yet.

OOH …yah those COMING SOON images have been coming soon since like 5 months ago when i last checked

Wow, that is quite a story. It reminds me of the movie “The Terminal” starring Tom Hanks. You know, to be honest that would be kind of fun to sleep over at LAX. Haha.

It wouldn’t be fun if you are alone. Now, if you had a friend, then it might be fun. For maybe the first week.

does anyone know why they want your picture for housing?
