Now that it’s game day, I’m excited. Actually, nervous. The Eagles just HAVE to win. DeSean Jackson, Asante Samuel need to make the big play. Love to see Westbrook have a big day. Mostly, I’m happy for Donovan and Andy Reid. Six weeks ago everyone around here was ready to run both of them outta town. Those “fans” should be ashamed.

Here’s hoping for an all Pennsylvania Superbowl. Is that too much to ask? Just this one time? Please…

I wholeheartedly agree with the GO STEELERS statement.

But as an Arizonan, I gotta have love for the Cards.
And if the Eagles win…this will be like the 5th time they have ruined playoffs/superbowl for me. Put simply, I just hate the Eagles!

BIRDS TO THE BOWL!! This is the year for my Eagles. I have my McNabb jersey on and I’m ready for game time. What an amazing comeback! I was in Philadelphia in early November when the season was down the tubes and the headline in the paper was “Stick a Fork in Him. McNabb’s Done.” I was also there when the Eagles beat the Cowboys on the 29th and beat 25 to 1 odds to make the playoffs.

I was not only AT the 1960 championship game that the Eagles won at Franklin Field (as an 8 year old), I was in all the official pictures of the victory because my grandfather and I were sitting in the end zone. I would kill to know where all my newspaper clippings, commemorative ashtrays etc. are.

Yeah they need to turn this around real quick. Not feelin’ the love. Cards have figured out the Eagles blitz and exploited with those little swing passes. Hard to watch.

Not again…
It sort of seems like the Groundhog Day movie.
Eagles make it this far…we host a little party and everyone leaves with long faces.
My h reminded me tonight…4 out 5…blecch.
Now I really don’t know who to root for…

The Eagles pulled their season out of the toilet against 25 to 1 odds a few weeks ago. I call that success, even though I am deeply disappointed about the loss today. They didn’t really mess up- they just lost. The thing about football is that one team DOES lose.

Saw it comin though…no rookie has every made it to the Super Bowl. Good job Steelers. Would’ve loved to see Ravens v. Eagles but this one should be very interesting.

Why would we feel like fools? The thing about football is that one team loses. That seems to happen every game. (oh wait, the Eagles managed to tie one this season)
