Going far away for college

I’m in community college and soon I will be done with my associate degree it’s almost time for me to start applying for colleges and I want to go far away like Hamline university, Seattle university, and saint louis university. I have never visited these colleges before just checked them out browsing the Web. I really looked in to these colleges to see if they have exactly what I want and them seem great this would be my first time alone so I need college students advice thanks. PS my finicial situation is not the best but is good enough does that make a difference

Start by realistically considering what you can afford, not where you dream of being. Make sure you visit before you make such a big move.

You’ll love Seattle U and might never return! Have two good friends who went there and they loved it.

All the schools I want to go to have very expensive fees

^ Then with your financial situation as you illustrated it, I would say you need to get off the clouds and get in touch with reality. Don’t dream about schools where you wish you could go; you need to look at match schools and safeties where you can afford and where you LIKE. What are your stats? What would you like to study/be? Is grad school an option?

Look for schools that award scholarships to transfer students, guaranteed by their grades at comm college.
