Going from Community College to top universities

I don’t have the best grades, my GPA is bad, I am not ranked high at all for class rank. I know I probably wont get into any major university right out of high school. My friend gave me the idea of going to a community college then transferring over to a school like Stanford or somewhere like that. how does that all work out?

You go to community college get somewhere in the range of a 3.6-4.0 gpa and put in a transfer package to the school you want to go to. Generally it works out pretty well.

That would be after 2 years right? also do you know if Stanford has a good aerospace program for undergrads?

It could be after 1 year it depends and have no idea.

Well I remember reading in my local newspaper about a girl who attended the local community college and was then admitted in to Harvard so it’s not impossible. And yeah, it would probably take you two years and then submit a transfer application to whatever school you wish.
