I’m just going to echo that I see Dickinson as a quite desirable college. Obviously it is always personal, but I think they have a nicely balanced academic mix, and you have been offered merit too. They are up to something like a 14% international percentage, which is pretty high, and they have a whole well-resourced program for international students:
And I think their location is actually pretty good by LAC standards–Carlisle is a really classic historic PA town, totally walkable, and Harrisburg is only like half an hour away, and then Philly is less than a 2-hour fast train ride from Harrisburg (my understanding is if you time it right, it is basically as fast as driving direct, which is cool).
So personally, I would see this as a fantastic opportunity for a great college experience. Of course if you hate it and want to transfer, OK, that is always an option. But I think if you give it a fair chance you might actually love it.
