Going to France for 3 weeks...how do I work this in my favor?

<p>So this summer I am going to France with the local school and their travel company. More or less we spend a week in the south of France, then Genoble for another week for a family stay, lastly a week in Paris.</p>

<p>There is nothing really academic about it unless you count working out mon mauvais francais and some family stay/French culture immersion.</p>

<p>Because of this trip, it wrecks most plans for summer academic programs. I think I’m just getting another internship in my small town.</p>

<p>So how do I spin this in my favor when I apply for colleges next fall? I’m really at lost for words as to what to say about my summer actitivies. What do you put on the line?</p>

<p>at first glance i don’t see a way you could spin this, except as an experience in cultural enrichment or whatever.</p>

<p>but I wouldn’t worry about it either. </p>

<p>also, I don’t see how a 3 wk trip would jeopardize internship/summer school opportunities – SOME of them sure, but not all of them. if you keep looking i’m sure you’ll find something great.</p>

<p>Well, it is from the second week of June to the first week of July. Many of the programs I researched fall inbetween those dates. Is there anything still open I could apply for anyways?</p>
