Going to France, need some help!

We stumbled onto Verjus’ wine bar when we were staying in the neighborhood in 2012. We were with our daughter who was 10 years old. They couldn’t have been more welcoming. I haven’t made it back to Paris, but hope to return soon. A meal at Verjus with my daughter and husband is at the top of my list.

I have twice done the Paris nighttime glass top bus tour. They time it so they get you to see the effiel tower light show. You not only get to see the lights along the river, but the ones in the areas that you might not venture to on foot at night (Moulin rouge, etc.)

Our evening bicycle tour ended at the Eiffel Tower light show. It was really magical. L)

Late to the thread and I realize you’re leaving soon, but we really enjoyed our food tour in Montmartre, through Devour Tours. We’ve used Secret Tours in other cities and they’re quite good too, but I preferred Devour when we were in Paris.

Luckily my brother lives in the 16th arrondissement, so I’ll benefit from some local knowledge, and connections.

We loved Paris, but the 24 hours we spent in Colmar were great, and such a contrast to the pace of the “City of Light.”

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Restaurant Le Fer Rouge.

I had the ham hock with roasted potatoes, then an amazing Christmas French toast dessert.
