Also, how much of the day do the classes take up?

Start by picking a Regionally Accredited school. Your life after school will be much easier with a RA degree verse a NA one like PCC offers. If that’s not a option good luck with PCC.

I did not see your major in your post. I have been on the hiring end of most levels (VP’s to ditch diggers). The world is a cruel place and it wants YOU! I assume by your selection of schools that you are a professing Christian. From a worldly perspective, the school you mentioned could prepare you for being a school teacher. I got my B.S in mechanical engineering from LSU. What are you looking for in terms of reward. Is it spiritual or physical. I was going to go to med school. I had my in after I graduated. I went to school on the GI Bill and would have had to return to service 2 years for every year of school. There is a current need, as I recall, for people with a masters degree in Sociology. My wife is a professional recruiter. By now, you have arrived at your goal. The question is, are you happy doing whatever you are doing?

Im going to major in Political Science and minor in Business Management.

You survive and even thrive by not getting hung up on the silly, weird nuances of PCC…like some of the rules and old-fashioned attitudes. Just pretend you are in a movie set in the early 1900s and enjoy. Academically, you will not have a problem getting a job due to the accreditation issue. It doesn’t really matter to most employers today. Shoot, even on-line degrees are “mainstream” now. I used my degree to join the Marines. PCC grads have gone on to get graduate degrees from Yale, Harvard and many other schools. I ended up transferring ALL MY CREDITS and graduating from the University of West Florida in 2002, but at that point, the Marines had already accepted me. Back to surviving–be on time, take your classes seriously, ignore the haters (there are plenty of them) be friendly to everyone even if they are not friendly to you, and date everyone you can. I spent way too many hours playing starcraft with my roommates!
