We don’t get Fox Soccer here so can’t see the game on TV. Anyone know where to see it online? TIA

i just googled “gold cup soccer online” and found instructions on how to watch it!

Can you share? I get lots of sketchy websites!

If you’re willing to go out I’m sure lots of sports bars will have it. Good luck

DS found it in Spanish! Que bueno!

If you want English subtitles/commentary:

[Concacaf Main | CONCACAF Home | Home](http://www.concacaf.com)

In Spanish:

[Deportes Univision - Noticias y Resultados de tus deportes favoritos](http://www.UnivisionDeportes.com)

This according to the first thing listed when I googled it.

I’m glad I am not the only one here who likes soccer

I am also watching on the Spanish language channel because I can’t find it elsewhere. :)

Oh, we had a vibrant World Cup thread in the day. So excited when the US went up 2-0!

Rats! Mexico just tied the score. They are fast & dangerous, though US defense is holding firm in first half.

Aso! Aso! Aso!

Can anyone translate?

Well, we had our chances, for sure.

Bastardos!

blowing a 2 goal lead is unacceptable.

The US team did not show their usual concentration. At 2-0, they failed to slow down the game and play a strict counter-attack game. This allowed the Tri to come back. There was no reason for the US to seek to score a third goal.

Fwiw, the first two goals of Mexico are dubious as the lineman seemed to miss the off-side position. Not so competent refs has been a hallmark of the Gold Cup. This year was no exception. This said, Howard is only the shadow of the goalkeeper he once was. His game today was simply atrocious.

The next World Cup does not look to promising for the US.

Ah, xiggi, we will get there… Someday. I’m simply happy that soccer is gaing popularity in the US.

Our local team, the Sounders, is doing well, drawing record attendance, but as H and I watched the last game vs the Red Bulls, we came to the conclusion that our guys need to grow up technically. There is enough speed and energy, but the players waste a lot of it by making silly, avoidable mistakes.

Anyone watching the Women’s World Cup games this weekend?

I agree. Seeing the participation in the US is heart-warming. Despite the never-ending sounds of the naysayers, the US will remain a force in soccer. While I think that we will “some day” develop a dominating cast of players, I think that we have done as well as we could in the past decades. The rankings of the US have been excellent, but that has a lot to do with the low level of the CONCACAF, where we compete with wildly overrated (and often mediocre) teams such as Mexico.

I am not optimistic for the next years because our world-class players (think Donovan or Howard) are fading fast, and the remaining players are journeymen who have the hardest time gaining a spot in the professional teams that play at the highest levels.

Let’s hope for new generations of players! Perhaps by the time the US gets to host another WC. The only question will be which one comes first. Fwiw, it might take a while for the FIFA to eradicate the corruption that brought the WC to Russia and Qatar.

Women’s World Cup is on here
Just started.

agree that Howard is not anywhere near what he was at the Confed Cup. Friedel is still probably the best active US keeper, but he retired from international play a long time ago.

US needs to learn to play defense. We give up goals left and right. Someone on another message board pointed out that even in 2002 when the US had its best WC run, we still have up 7 goals in 5 games (would’ve been worse if Friedel didn’t save 2 PKs), which is not very good.
