I actually liked Michelle’s dress. Liked Zellweger’s dress too.
I just read recently that Michelle Williams is pregnant. Maybe she felt she’d be comfortable in that dress. I didn’t hate it. I really loved Zellweger’s dress.
I was happy that Joaquin Phoenix got the award. I saw Joker which I never thought I’d like and I ended up loving it because of his phenomenal performance. Listening to him last night I did have the thought that maybe playing crazy isn’t very difficult for him!
He’s an odd one but super talented. I’ve always been a fan of his work.
Missed it because the tennis has started in Oz. I did record it so will watch it eventually. I also recorded live from red carpet, which I’m much more interested in than the actual awards.
Overall I thought it was a fun night. A few really odd moments - Jennifer Aniston for one. ? I loved Ricky Gervais - laughed out loud several times. And his finger wagging at those on the Apple TV programs was spot on (IMHO).
I kinda hate Ricky Gervais, so I’m glad I missed the broadcast. Looking at the pics from the red carpet, some of the clothing choices are definitely head scratchers for me. I can’t believe the stars wanted to wear some of those dresses.
