^^^Last night was illustrative of how the standards of beauty have really become ingrained in ultra thin bodies. While I DO believe some of these women are probably naturally quite thin, I think a lot of them are forcing their bodies to meet that standard with some extreme measures lest they become unemployable.
Re Guillianna just looked anorexic and spray tanned to me. Don’t really know who she is, but I feel sorry for her. She probably would have looked better with a dress that covered up more of her shoulders and upper torso.
That’s her look and always has been. She’s an E channel reporter turned so-called reality show star after she married a Celebrity Apprentice winner/entrepreneur tuned reality show costar.
I mean really . . . who hasn’t seen J-Lo’s boobs by now. It would be more impressive if she kept then in. Now THAT would get my attention.
I don’t usually watch award shows, but I was already in the living room in front of the tv after the football game.
Also I remembered that it had Tina & Amy.
While it obviously is a less glitzy cousin of the Academy awards, I enjoyed the emphasis in the speeches towards freedom of expression and importance of loved ones & family. I’d never noticed that tone dominating the Oscars the way it did last night.

Seriously. I hate her fashion choices, although she seems to be moving away from the one-shouldered look. Kate Hudson always does the super-plunge thing too.

I finally got to watch Live from the Red Carpet last night.
What in the world was Keira Knightley thinking?!? All I could think of was Little Bo Peep. All l that was missing was the shepard’s crook.
The woman in the green shiny dress who looked like she was going to an 80’s prom -complete with big hair. WTHWST?
Amal’s white gloves. I think she thought she was making a fashion statement but it didn’t work at all.
Clair Danes - very disappointing. It might have been a beautiful dress on someone else - but it didn’t fit her.
I did love how Amal said, " my dress is by __, my jewelry is and the white gloves are mine!!!"
^ She should have left them home.
The gloves were a great idea, but were the wrong size or something? They looked ill fitting.
I didn’t think her gloves were long enough. Something was out of sync. She really is a gorgeous woman.
Keira’s little Bo Peep number was a Chanel 2014 creation. Of course it looked outdated! Who in their same state of mind would wear last year’s design? Pfft! Only a guy would think of that, like Clooney who wore his wedding tux! 
Julianne Moore won a Golden Globe for her role in Still Alice. I looked all over for a theater in Dallas to go see it and found out it has not even been released yet!
It opens January 16 and sounds like an intriguing film.

Lol! Yahoo slideshow initially listed it as Chanel pre-fall 2014. It sort of looked like it came from that infamously hideous Dallas collection! The one with the saddle bag that looked like an owl and featured a lot of guns in it. 
Since Keira Knightley is pregnant, I’m going to give her a pass. However, I do agree with the others who thought it was a strange dress. The young woman (Julia something) who wore the sapphire taffeta ballgown was stunning. What movie or show is she associated with?
