I had to go clean up the kitchen from dinner, and didn’t catch all that (Grand Budapest Hotel award), but it seemed funny.

Sooo happy that Boyhood won Best Picture and that Linklater won Best Director. Well, and Arquette, too! I hope more people will go see it now.
Just read that Jane Fonda’s boyfriend passed out during the awards. Evidently he ended up being fine and blamed it on sitting too close to the stage where there was a lot more heat from the lights, and he got overheated. Man, based on how she looked tonight, I think she got him overheated!
Did anyone else think Ana Faris looked lovely?
Margaret Cho was truly ha-ha funny.

Helen Mirren is just a beautiful, beautiful woman! I can only hope to age so well.
I am not normally on Team Gwyneth, but she did look great. I like her back in pink and looking like she’s started eating again. It’s great to have her own body (un-enhanced), but there was that year when she wore that metallic mesh thingy and her girls kind of drooped down like sad little sacks. She looked healthy in a good way and had some natural curves back.
Highlights for me were the opening monologue, George Clooney, Margaret Cho, and the gowns.
Speaking of thin, I thought Giuliana Rancic was distractingly bony. I understand she has had breast cancer, so perhaps the treatments have contributed to this, but it seems she has always been extremely thin. Perhaps it is simply in her genes to be that thin, but it’s not a healthy look. When she was interviewing Gina Rodriguez, the contrast in health and vitality was very noticeable. Perhaps she just can’t help it, I have no idea.
My D and I were talking about this last night ^^^. She has such energy and love for her job and fashion and all that. I think she would look so much healthier with 10 more pounds. Her face looks so thin and drawn.
She always has looked unhealthily thin to me.
Amal Clooney was just gorgeous, very classy…my favorite dress. I think it’s fun to see George Clooney be all googly-eyed with is new bride. LOL! I loved reading about Princess Diana, had all the books and magazines. After she passed, I haven’t been interested in any other female in the spotlight until Amal. I enjoy seeing what she’s wearing and she is just so beautiful. Move over Catherine Zeta Jones and Angelina Jolie.
As someone who has been very thin all my life and finds it very difficult to gain weight - I think this is just Guliana’s body type.
I was finally able to put on some weight (about 10pds) and keep it on because I take a medication whose side effect can be weight gain.
I loved the schtick about all of Amal’s accomplishments, followed by “but tonight her HUSBAND is receiving a life time achievement award!” George had a good laugh at that-probably a mental “touche” going through his mind.
The treatment Guilianna had would not make her lose weight. I don’t find her very attractive at all.
I think George Clooney did very well. although I think he is very handsome.
Amy and Tina were hysterical and I love
jane Fonda’s boyfriend has a chronic illness. I am thinking Parkinsons. I thought Lily Tomlin looked awesome too. I am tired of the classless clothes
I was thinking of JLo and all the other “look at my boobs” dresses, together with the utterly flat tummies of the actresses when Amy Adams was talking about how the strong women in the room would be such great examples for her daughter.
I recently read that while Tina Fey was writing for SNL, there was only interest in putting her on camera ( as something other than an occasional extra) after she lost 30 pounds
