I wondered if we had a thread for what things should win a “prize” for a bad outcome, a clunker, etc. What comes to mind??
Sad story, but immediately thought Darwin Award when I read the story:
Right during the holiday season, a local high school student decided to steal a car in a nearby city and drive it back to our lakeside town. When he realized he would get caught, he tried to ditch the car in the lake. In the process, somehow the car ran him over and killed him.
Can’t make this stuff up.
My nomination for this year’s award…FSA for their crappy rollout of the “simplified FAFSA”. Oxymoron of the century.
Seriously. I’d be losing my mind if my kid was applying to schools this year. Last year we filled that sucker out as soon as it opened in October. This year I’m waiting until the college’s FAFSA deadline for continuing students!
