Hi. Not knowing where else this thread would fit, I chose this panel ^^.

Can any current WUSTL student suggest some interesting seminar classes for me? I’m looking for an easy grade with a good teacher. It can be in any field, but it HAS to be a very interesting class. I thought 1 unit classes probably would be an easy class, but 2-unit suggestions are welcome as well.

I think “interesting” is very much a matter of taste. What kinds of things are you interested in? I also think the seminars offered change a lot. I had some friends do one which involved a spring break trip to Cuba which sounded pretty awesome.

I’d just look through the list of freshman seminars available, pick out ones that sound cool and look up the reviews of the teachers. In my experience a good teacher tends to be good across all of their classes, so if they got good reviews for the classes posted then its probably a good bet!

I’d look at the list of seminars if there exists one! Do you know of a site where I can find a list? I’ve checked on course listings but it doesn’t seem to give you that search option.

I want to take a seminar class pretty much as a filler so I’d have 15 units of class, so ANYthing would do. if anyone can just suggest whatever seminar they’ve taken that’s interesting or they’ve heard that’s interesting, I’ll check it out.
