Good ACT scores, Need to take SAT?

My D scored good on the ACT: 33, 33, then 35 (English 36, Science 36, Math 35, reading 32, essay 10). She is scheduled to take SAT I this Saturday (10/9), but her practice scores from “the official guide of the SAT” are more than 100 points lower. Particularly, CR is in 660-700 range. She wants to apply to Ivies. Does she need to take SAT anyway, for Ivies care more about SAT? We live in Wisconsin, and My D, who is a senior, has never taken SAT I.

no… I would definitly not take it.

Thanks UVAorBust. Any other ideas?

If you have already signed up and paid, why not take it? You don’t have to send the scores and they might be good. Real tests are different from practice tests. Eat a good breakfast, get a good nights sleep and go for it. If she is a senior hoping for the Ivies, she needs to be ready to take a risk and to accept the ups and downs of the whole process.
