Good Business Programs in Warmer Weather

Ok, so my transcript doesn’t quite cut it for Wharton or McIntire (OOS). One program that I am particularly interested in is Marshall at USC. Any other suggestions for someone with a 2170 SAT, upward trend, and decent EC’s?

Thanks

UTexas-McCombs, UNC-Chapel Hill, Berkeley-Haas (although this is a damn hard school to get into from OOS, even though I think you have a shot depending on how good your GPA is) and as you mentioned USC-Marshall are good programs that are in warm weather. I’ve also heard good things about University of Florida, although that’s probably to a lesser extent.

Excluding warm weather, UMich Ross, NYU stern are top programs you could look at, plus I’m sure that there are plenty of other decent programs in the Boston/NYC area that will be decent just based on their proximity to big cities.

Might also want to include UVA.

Arizona State or Univ. of Arizona. 300 sunny days a year, no snow, decent business schools.

If you think you can’t get into McIntire, you have a very, very slight chance of getting into Haas as well. Competition for places at Haas is extremely fierce.

I’d recommend that you aim for USC-Marshall. It maybe is not as prestigious as Haas, but it’s not totally dismal from it as well. And, from what I’ve gathered, Marshall grads have solid networking in LA/SoCal area. You should be fine after earning a Marshall undergrad degree.

Another schools that you should look into are:
UCSD
UCI
UCSB
Pepperdine
Santa Clara University
U of San Francisco – fallback
