What are these colleges???

anyone, please???

uh…the definition of a “good” college is incredibly arbitrary so if you’re looking into specific places/programs/whatever, list them and you’ll get more replies
that said, nearly all the Ivies (Harvard, Yale, Columbia, etc.) say that they evaluate students holistically, which means that they take into account not only your SAT score, but also your GPA, your ECs, and importantly, your essays. so if you have a low SAT score but are a national golf champion or something, theres no reason why your chances would be worse than an average student with good SATs and a good GPA.
i think some schools (UChicago, Columbia, Northwestern, and a bunch of the UCs) put a lot more emphasis on GPA/ECs rather than SAT scores, but dont quote me on that…

Wake Forest is a great test optional school.

Bowdoin is a good SAT optional school.

“If you have a low SAT score but are a national golf champion or something”

If you are a national golf champion then I would think that you’re guaranteed admission as long as your SAT scores are even marginally acceptable.

Johns Hopkins admissions is incredibly holistic.
