good colleges with creative writing ?

<p>what is a good college in new jersey/ new york/ pennsylvania that offers creative writing(preferably as a major, but a minor/ concentration is fine)? Can be public or private.</p>

<p>In New York there is Bard, Columbia, Ithica, Hamilton, Pratt, SUNY Purchase, CUNY Baruch and Brooklyn College. In Pennsylvania, Carnegie Mellon and Penn State are both good schools. And in New Jersey there is Seton Hall. I too am looking to major in creative writing in/around New York and it’s hard to find programs that aren’t just concentrations in writing under the English major. Also, if you have any interest in the publishing side of creative writing, look into Pace University in NYC. They have a five year combined BA in English (with writing concentration) MA in publishing.</p>
