Good East Coast Schools For Dance

Friend’s daughter is interested in pursuing an undergraduate major in dance (performance primarily, but she is also considering dance education as a fallback). She has a 3.5 gpa from a top notch public high school, 1200+ SAT (M/CR), and a strong resume (ballet, classical, modern, tap, musical theater, some directing and choreography for local theater, etc.). She auditions well. More of a B+ student than a scholar. She’s looking for East Coast schools and, so far, she’s applying to Marymount Manhattan, UMass, Roger Williams, George Mason and Elon. Any suggestions? Thanks.

NYU, probably.

^I doubt that she would be academically competitive at NYU. She’s a B+/1200+ SAT student.
