Good engineering match schools

If $31,000 per year is affordable, would the following schools be suitable?

Iowa State
South Dakota School of Mines and Technology

@palm715 thank you, nice source

@WhenOthers If you have Bs “across the board”, are you sure you have a 3.5 unweighted GPA? A 3.5 indicates an A-/B+ student.

@yikesyikesyikes yes, B+'s mostly, ~87.5% at the moment, just didn’t go too deep into the details

West Virginia? Iowa? Maybe Clemson?

U of Maryland Baltimore County
Clemson University
U of South Carolina-Columbia
Missouri University of Science & Technology
Ohio University
U of Akron
U of Massachusetts-Lowell
U of Kansas
Kansas State University
Saint Louis University
Illinois Institute of Technology
Clarkson University
U of Rochester
Rochester Institute of Technology
Worcester Polytechnic Institute
U of Portland

3.5 / 1240 at Western Michigan should bring cost of attendance to 25k. We looked at it, but it was bigger than DD liked.
Lake Superior State has ABET engineering programs, is quite small, but I was OK with it. DD liked it quite a bit. It’s technically in the Midwest, but the weather can be… wow.

Clarkson starts at around 60k a year all up, IIRC. Can’t imagine 30-35k in merit for a 3.5, but I guess it could happen.

I know it’s not Midwest or East, but it’s far from home and convenient to an airport, and I think U of New Mexico might work OK. Quite a bit of tech in Albuquerque, and more than one person has gone from UNM to Sandia Nat’l Labs.

@LakeWashington it’s a very eclectic list
