Good enough for a UC?

Hi, is 3.0 good enough to apply for UCI or UCSC or UCSB for the Psyc program?

check if your school has guranteed transfer agreements to any of those schools. a 3.0 with a contract would definitely get you into some of those UCs.

I know someone who got in with a 2.6 from Fulerton junior college to Uci under International Studies major so you never know.

3.0 + Uci Paif = In

Will not having the PAIF significantly hurt my chances?

Make sure u have math and eng done by the time u apply to SB, so u’ll be guaranteed to be accepted.

PAIF is good…it will boost your confidence

you don’t even need paif, just get the 3.0, 60 transferable units, and the one or two classes that UCI requires for psych and ur in. i haven’t heard of anyone yet who got rejected to UCI psych, and some guy i know had a 2.7 with 57 units, and a horrendous transcript with several D’s and drops etc… he retook many classes several times and failed them, etc… and he got in winter quarter, only because he didn’t have sixty units. don’t worry, 3.0 and 60 units, ur in.
