good enough for early action?

3.33 recalculated GPA
2040 SAT (740 CR, 660 Math, 640 writing)
5 AP’s including senior year classes along with 3 honors classes.

Thanks!

Honestly, no, and RD may be in question due to your GPA. See these links to see what EA applicants for Fall 2009 look like and to see how competitive UGA has become.

3.32 Core on my school’s scale (+1.0 for AP)
1960 SAT (680CR, 630M, 650W)
2 APs, +2 Senior Year

In, but for RD. Deferred EA.

If I may, what HS do you go to, so I can see if i can make an estimate (ie, i got in with my 3.3, my friend at walton knew ppl with a 3.9 that got denied)

I go to a selective private school in dallas. Also, I have great (in my opinion) EC’s and am attending Boy’s state Texas this summer

I would say no. That’s too low of a GPA even with good SATs.

I would like to thank everybody for their prompt and honest responses. I should still have some shot at RD at least with some great EC’s right?

o ur OOS, nvm, no idea then.

If you have good ECs and essays, you’ll still have a shot, with ur GPA being the only crack in your application. I’m pretty sure that’s how it worked with me.

but yea, not likely for EA.
