<p>Ok so I’m starting my essay soon, I’m doing the common app person who’s influenced you thing. I’ve considered writing it about my dad, who was an NYC cop who was present at the 9/11 attacks. Then lead that into his life influencing me to push myself to the limit in what I do(rowing team, school, etc)and also to pursue a career in law, following in his footsteps in a way. Somehow I feel that this could turn out kinda generic but idk.</p>
