Good fits for science and business?

Looking for a school that has good programs in both business and physical sciences. Location has no affect. It needs to be Division I sports, and private or public doesn’t matter.
ACT: 35
GPA: 4.0 (top 10%)
4 on AP Euro and 3 on AP Physics
ECs:
volunteer coach 3 years
varsity basketball 4 years
national merit commended scholar
volunteer many community projects, help building houses, clean up camps, clean up disaster areas.
national honor society
beta club.

I would prefer a school that is not a big Greek school and has great school spirit. thanks alot for your help.

The issue with what you are asking is that most DI schools that have great sports and school spirit tend to be Greek dominated. I would reccomend looking at Boston College. Great well-rounded school, fantastic athletics/school spirit, and no greek system at all.

I agree with pvike - most D1 schools have a very Greek-ish atmoshpere (regardless of whether or not a lot of people go Greek, they tend to have that feel, I guess.). I’ve noticed this especially in the Big 10 conference (at schools like Illinois, Inidiana, and Penn State) and southern schools (such as Vandy and Wake).

I’ll second the recommendation for BC. How about Colgate or Holy Cross?

And for publics…how about Pitt? It doesn’t have much of a fratty feel, but the academics are good and there’s lots of spirit. And the honors program is amazing.

Berkeley, perhaps?

EDIT: I think Washington would probably fit what you’re looking for as well.

BC looks pretty good as does Pitt. Berkeley would be good but I’m not into the extremely liberal campus. I would put more emphasis on it being a D1 sports school than it not having a greek scene also. thanks alot guys for the ideas so far.

If Berkeley’s too liberal, you may like UCLA.

I can’t recall offhand if Georgetown is D1, but if so, it could be a good fit too. Very strong in business and science.

Michigan could be good too. It’s a top business schools, definitely D1, but not too Greek-feeling (compared to the rest of the big 10).

Yes, definitely look at Georgetown. Great basketball team and school spirit, no greek. And its a crazy good school.

Wisconsin is less dominated by Greeks than most similar schools yet has great D-1 sports and very good science and business programs. Pretty decent social life too.

MIT is amazing in both.

Michigan
UCLA
USC
Berkeley
University of Texas Business Honors

Does money matter? Penn would be my top choice for your interests if it doesn’t.

Their sports suck

Ahhh major D-1 sports there CK and 78. The last time I checked MIT and Penn where not in the BCS.

Holy Cross and Villanova.
